Shepard Fairey Redux

Lot of comments on Shepard Fairey and how he’s ripped off everyone in the world! People should take a look around at the world of post modern art. People are influenced and incorporate art that comes before him. Shepard is appropriating graphical design elements of all kinds of propaganda – corporate and state. That’s part of the point. And that’s part of the point of a whole trend in art. This is just a quick response to some of the comments. But healthy debate is good – and eveyone has their right to their opinions. Still think there’s more things to be upset about in the world.
