LA River City Visionz at CreWest Gallery

RIVER CITY VISIONZ
A month long exhibit and series of events inspired by the L.A. River.

Opening Reception, Sept 15th
6pm – 10pm, CreWest Gallery

Although the L.A. River is mostly known as a bleak concrete environment, these local artists seek to express it’s hidden beauty and alter the perceptions, function, and significance of its paved riverbanks through their artwork. This exhibit features original paintings, photography, and mixed media works by locals who have found inspiration in the L.A. River and it’s unique landscape.

This exhibit and series of events kicks-off a year-long endeavor
to create a huge River City Visionz mural involving hundreds
of local and international artists scheduled to be painted in the
Los Angeles River in the early fall of 2008.
Artists include: Chris Haston, Eriberto Oriol, Edgar Hoill, Ruet, Spurn, Man One, Eyeone & Others.

Featured Artist: Zoueh
