The Village Voice, one of our favorite publications, just posted about our Tribeca premiere. Check out the article in the All City column. And it looks like the Village Voice loves us as much as we love them…

From director Jon Reiss:

Interviewing Revs was an early Holy Grail for us in making our film. I
was thrilled with how he had taken graff into so many different forms – from
his journal entries in the subway tunnels to his metal sculpture.

I had a feeling that he might have seen my docs on Survival Research
Laboratories – because he came up through the NY punk scene and was
doing metal work. And I was fortunately right – because of those early film –
he granted us a rare interview on our first trip to New York.

Here is a portion of his interview from our film “Bomb It”. Enjoy!

Can’t get enough? Then come see us at the Tribeca Film Festival! Go to: www.tribecafilmfestival.org to get your seat!

The debate is on WNYC

Blowing up Press in NYC

So things are getting crazy in the mecca of graffiti.

I’m running all around town from interview to interview – since it seems for some reason – graffiti is still relevant – who would have thought.

I had the fortune of being interviewed with the Terrible T-Kid 170 himself for New York 1 News yesterday – its airing on Wednesday – and will be posted on their site soon – we’ll post the link when we get it.

Tommarow we’re live on WNYC SOUNDCHECK – Graffiti: Art or Nuisance? at 1:40pm with Mr. Peter Vallone, Jr. himself and Chino – its call in live – so CALL IN.

We also got noticed by non other than the esteemed Village Voice

And we’re on the front page of the HUFFINGTON POST I’m blogging especially for them during the fest so I’m in the featured blogs on the left hand side. Scroll down a bit and you’ll find me.

None other than Cope 2 found himself in the Telemundo studio way out in Jersey today for a segment on the film festival.

Also ran to IVs at Film.com – which will post soon as well and ABC radio.

And the day capped off by doing a quick segment for the esteemed Eugene Hernandez from Indiewire – where I get all my indy film news. Again – we’ll keep you posted when it posts.

even AM NY considered us on their list of the “Best of the Best” at Tribeca.

And if you’re in New York and want to see the film – 3 screenings are on door sales only – so if you want to be guaranteed a ticket – I’d buy them in advance from the Tribeca site. But they do hold some tix for door sales – so still come on down to any screening. I’ll be there so be sure to introduce yourself!

More to come.

Out for now.

J
