Calgary Press

Since we finally made it up north to the Calgary International Film Festival we got a bit of press in the Gauntlet, the University of Calgary’s newsweekly. Here’s an excerpt:

Whatever side you may be on, Bomb It will shed a new light on graffiti as the thrills, horrors, dangers and reasons behind the lifestyles and history to the art of graffiti.

Remember to “Just drop it, bomb it.”

Dutch Graffiti Photos- Tribute to Days

Scage– the graffiti artist in Bomb It inspired by Dutch graphic design- has a wicked photo blog up on Fotolog. He and his design collective/ studio Booyabase do experimental (street)art projects in public space. Currently they are honoring the work of legendary Dutch graffiti writer Days, so you definitely want to check out the site soon. After their tribute to Days finishes they’ll continue to update the site everyday with new pics of their design projects. So check out this link for pics from the vault of works by legendary Days and his vanguard 3-D style:

Stephen Schuster’s new photo blog

So if you liked some of the NYC subway tunnel images in our film, then you’ll definitely want to check out the new photo blog from the talented photographer Stephen Schuster who contributed still images to Bomb It.

This September he made a visit to LA and took a walk down the LA River with Jersey Joe. Check out the cool flix and a bad ass portrait of Estevan Oriol at:
