Arnel was the Senior VP of Theatrical Distribution & PR at Seventh Art Releasing. There, he released the award-winning documentaries JONESTOWN: the LIFE and DEATH of PEOPLE’S TEMPLE and WORKINGMAN’S DEATH. His broad producing experience encompasses various film, television, and event productions at Viacom, the Winter Music Conference, Food Network, and Dalzell, to name a few. His pilot “NEEDLES N’ THREADS” earned critical acclaim and his graffiti short documentary “ELLIS QUEMADA GALLAGHER” won the Viewer’s Choice Award at the MTV Film Festival. In 2005, he was named a Key Influential Tastemaker by FADER magazine. Arnel graduated Cum Laude from New York University with a degree in Film and Marketing, received the President’s Service Award for Volunteerism and Community Service and is a member of the prestigious Martin Luther King Jr. Scholars Program.
