Da Bomb: The Inventor of Mathematical Street Art

Kurt Wenner, a former NASA illustrator and now renowned street artist of the anamorphic variety, can now be appear on your bookshelf: ‘Asphalt Renaissance‘ which documents Wenners 25-year career.


Wenner invented a new geometry that creates compositions that appear to rise from or fall into the ground, “The pieces look real because they are calucalted to be perfectly and mathematically accurate.” His innovative style draws on religion and classical mythology. [via Daily Mail]
