HERT arrested for graffiti throughout city

The graffiti vandal “HERT”, who was ranked second on the City of Pittsburgh’s 10 Most Wanted Graffiti Vandals list has been arrested.

On March 13, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Graffiti Task Force detectives arrested Ian Debeer, 21. Mr. Debeer is a native of Buffalo, NY and currently resides in Mt. Washington.

Pittsburgh Graffiti Task Force detectives accuse Mr. Debeer of applying “HERT” graffiti to 100 locations within the City of Pittsburgh causing approximately $212,100.00 in damages. “HERT” graffiti first appeared in the city in April, 2007 and continued through March, 2009.
